Future Tenders:
CRIME

Recently closed. Contracts to start 01/10/2022 for 1 year, extension possible for two years.

MAIN CIVIL
The current 2018 civil contract started on 1st September 2018 and was due to run for three years. It was extended by one year, which takes the end of the current civil contract to August 2022.

The tender process normally commences 11-12 months in advance of a new contract start date, so should have started in July August 2021, but did not.

The crime tender is currently running, with a verification deadline of 27th March 2022. It is expected the LAA Central Commissioning team will be too busy with the crime contract to publish a civil headline intentions document or start the civil tender process until circa May 2022.

With this in mind, it is anticipated the LAA may further extend the current civil contract by a further 6-12 months to either February or August 2023, but this is guess work at best. We will advise all our contacts once the LAA publishes details.
