Indu Suri – Consultant
LLB 2:1 (Hons)
Having achieved a 2:1 in LLB(Hons), Indu went on to study and successfully pass her Law Society Finals. She then commenced her career with the Legal Aid Board as a Quality Auditor and progressed rapidly to hold roles as Relationship Manager, Account Manager and latterly, Senior Contract Manager.
With 20 years’ experience and considerable knowledge of the Legal Aid Contract and Contract Management, Indu guided a team of auditors, mentored Contract Managers and managed civil, crime and not for profit legal provider portfolios. Senior LAA Management turned to Indu as she was the Regional Crime Transformation Lead, as well as the Legal Aid Transformation Champion for London. She also collaborated with various stakeholders, varying from the Metropolitan Police and Magistrates’ Courts to the SRA, to foster improved relationships with legal aid providers.
Indu has a secure track record helping struggling organisations transform and retain their legal aid contracts, providing ongoing guidance and support, conducting SQM, Annual Contract Manager Compliance Audits and helping providers achieve great KPIs with a focus on long-term organisational objectives.
With a proven aptitude to integrate best practice, Indu’s strengths lie in identifying organisational weaknesses and coaching firms to implement effective systems for compliance focused on maximised growth and improved business performance.
